PDP General Secretary condemns policeman Tanveer’s killing | KNO

Terms such incidents worrisome, expresses solidarity with bereaved family

Srinagar (KNO) : Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) General Secretary Mansoor Hussain Sohrawardy on Thursday condemned the killing of a police personal in South Kashmir’s Pulwama, stating that such incidents only bring pall of gloom to the families in Kashmir.

Mansoor in a statement issued from the party head office condemned the killing of the police personal namely Tanveer Ahmad Malik, son of Abdul Rashid Malik of Kharpora Chatergul, South Kashmir. The PDP General Secretary expressed his condolence to Tanveer’s family at this hour of irreparable loss and insurmountable grief. He prayed for the departed soul and for the patience of the bereaved family.

Tanveer was killed and two others were injured in a militant attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday. Terming such incidents worrisome and condemnable, Mansoor said that the vicious cycle of violence in Valley must stop at an earliest as people including the police personnel and their families deserve peaceful living.
